Landscapes of Boumort Reserve

A route full of history starting at Salt de la Núvia (the Bridal Jump). Legend says that a bride jumped from that point when she discovered the remote village she had to live in after getting married. From there, there is a magnificent view of Collegats Gorge and its arid and rocky landscape. The route then climbs a medieval path used many years ago by the inhabitants of the troglodyte village, Espluga (1000m), now abandoned. We will reach the village after a steep slope where it will be possible to see the old constructions built inside a rock shelter. Along the way, it is also very easy to see vultures flying above our heads. The last part of the route consists of a continuous downhill until reaching river Noguera Pallaresa, where an exciting zip line is used to cross the river and reach the main road.
